Account Deletion Policy

This Account Deletion Policy explains how users of Bookethcloud can request deletion of their account and what happens after an account deletion request is submitted.

This Account Deletion Policy explains how users of Bookethcloud, operated by BOOKETHCLOUD PRIVATE LIMITED (“Bookethcloud”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), can request deletion of their account and what happens after an account deletion request is submitted.

1Requesting Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their Bookethcloud account through the account deletion option available within the Platform or by contacting Bookethcloud through the designated support or privacy contact channel.

For security purposes, Bookethcloud may require the user to verify ownership of the account before processing the request.

2What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Once an account deletion request is processed:

  • Your Bookethcloud account will be permanently deleted or deactivated.
  • You will no longer be able to access your account.
  • Your profile and account-related information will be deleted, subject to applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Saved preferences and other account-related data may no longer be recoverable.
  • Access to certain bookings, history, dashboard information, or other Platform features may be lost.

3Pending Transactions

Account deletion does not automatically cancel or remove pending bookings, payments, refunds, cancellations, settlements, disputes, or other transactions. Bookethcloud may retain or process information necessary to complete or resolve such transactions.

4Information That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained where required or permitted by applicable law, including information relating to:

  • Payments and transactions;
  • Invoices and receipts;
  • Tax and accounting records;
  • Refunds and cancellations;
  • Disputes and complaints;
  • Fraud prevention and security; and
  • Legal or regulatory compliance.

Such information will be retained only for the period required or permitted under applicable law and will be deleted, anonymised, or otherwise handled appropriately thereafter.

5Third-Party Information

If information has been shared with an Organizer, Studio, Event Host, payment service provider, or other third party as part of a booking or transaction, deletion of your Bookethcloud account does not necessarily result in deletion of information independently maintained by that third party.

6Backup Data

Information may remain temporarily in secure backup systems following account deletion. Such information will be removed or overwritten in accordance with Bookethcloud's applicable backup and data-retention procedures.

7Irreversible Deletion

Account deletion may be permanent and irreversible. Users should save any information they wish to retain before requesting deletion.
